About Women Build

This fall, from September through November 2025, Holston Habitat’s Women Build brings women together to make a difference on the build site and beyond. As a vital fundraiser and community initiative, Women Build provides an opportunity to support affordable housing through teamwork, giving, and action. Whether you’re building alongside us or backing the mission from afar, you’re helping create lasting change, one home at a time.

Holston Habitat for Humanity invites you to partner with us for the 2025 Fall Women Build, a powerful initiative that brings women together to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. This year, we’ll be building a safe, affordable home for Clara, a devoted mother and in-home healthcare worker, and her 12-year-old son.

By becoming a sponsor, you’re not just funding a build; you’re helping to create opportunities, foster connections, and celebrate the strength of women lifting one another up.

Sponsorship Opportunities

We offer flexible sponsorship levels to fit your team’s capacity and goals:

$500–$2,499 – 1-day sponsorship, includes $25/person participation donation
$2,500–$9,999 – 1-day sponsorship (with the option of an additional day), includes team participation, donations, and logo placement on the event sign
$10,000+ – 1-day sponsorship (with the option of 1 to 2 additional days), includes team participation, donations, and premium logo placement on the event sign

Meet The 2025 Women Build Homeowner

Meet Clara, a devoted mother and in-home healthcare worker who spends her days caring for others. Before joining the Habitat program, she and her 12-year-old son lived in Section 8 housing that didn’t meet their needs. Now, they’re building a future filled with hope, stability, and the promise of a true home.

Volunteer with Women Build

Whether you’re a seasoned builder or picking up a hammer for the first time, there’s a place for you on the build site. Women Build is all about learning new skills, working alongside other dedicated volunteers, and helping a local family build a brighter future.

Sign up to join us between September and November 2025 and make a tangible difference in your community.

Volunteer days for Women Build 2025 will be scheduled in phases. Now through August 12, priority scheduling is available exclusively for sponsor groups. From August 13 to August 26, volunteer days will open to non-sponsor groups. Beginning August 27, remaining dates will be available for individual community volunteers.

Sponsor groups must fill all reserved volunteer spots at least two weeks prior to their scheduled build day. Any unfilled spots will be released to the public to ensure full participation.

A $25 per person participation donation is required for all

non-sponsor groups and individual volunteers, which helps cover the costs of build-day materials, t-shirts, and meals.

Sponsorship does not require participation in a volunteer day; businesses are welcome to support the build through financial contributions alone.
