990 Tax Form

The IRS Form 990 is the reporting form that many federally tax-exempt organizations must file with the IRS each year. This form allows the IRS and the general public to evaluate a nonprofit's operations; it includes information on the nonprofit's mission, programs, and finances.

Gratitude Report

Have you seen Holston Habitat's Gratitude Report for 2023? We had a BIG year thanks to YOUR help!!!

Check out our MAJOR growth from 2022 to 2023:
🎉 Volunteer hours increased by 15%
🎉 Number of Home Repair projects increased by 450%
🎉 Number of Homes Sold increased 50%
🎉 Investment in construction & operations increased 35%! 😲

Here's what else you DON'T see in this report:
🔨 Holston Habitat was recognized as Affiliate of the Year out of over 35 Affiliates across the state of Tennessee! 🏆
🔨 Holston Habitat (HHfH) was awarded a $300K grant from Washington County, TN to support land development costs on a new Habitat neighborhood in Johnson City! We love partnering with our local government to make an impact.
🔨 HHfH was donated a 3-acre parcel of land from the City of Johnson City to develop into said neighborhood! A small public park will also be constructed next to the 11-12 new homes. This is a multi-year project spanning through the end of 2027, and we are so thankful for the City's partnership in Habitat's vision.
🔨 HHfH was awarded Ballad Health grant funding for the first time to complete critical Home Repair projects ($60K), allowing the organization to serve previously untouched parts of our 3-county and 2-state service area. HHfH was awarded this funding in collaboration with 3 other Habitat Affiliates in East Tennessee.  💪
🔨 HHfH made important investments in Operations, such as hiring two more construction staff, purchasing two construction vehicles, onboarding a Fellow from Interyear Fellowship to focus on Habitat communications & storytelling, and more!

HERE'S HOW YOU CAN HELP IN 2024:
SHOP at the ReStores, DONATE so that more people get homes they can afford, VOLUNTEER on a work site or at the Restores, PRAY for continued safety of all volunteers & staff, and TELL YOUR FRIENDS about what we're up to. We appreciate you more than you know.
